What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first physical therapy visit will involve a detailed history taking and a thorough musculoskeletal assessment. This may include strength testing, range of motion testing, movement analysis, postural analysis, and more.

Your first visit will then include education about what the exam revealed and how these findings contribute to your diagnosis. You will be educated on the diagnosis itself and what the physical therapy plan of care entails. You will receive full treatment this session and initial home program.

Why is Alpine Edge Physical Therapy out of network?

By being out of network, we are not bound to insurance companies deciding the parameters of treatment. Most in-network PT clinics can only provide 30 minute treatments, often provided by extenders such as assistants or aides.  At Alpine Edge, your PT can provide a full hour of treatment that is customized to your needs and driven by the goals set by you. This all makes your care more efficient, and often you don’t need as many visits.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

You should wear whatever you are comfortable in! You should be able to move in whatever outfit you choose, as you may be asked to perform various motions and exercises as part of your visit.

Is there parking at your facility?

The clinic is located in a detached building located behind my home. There is ample parking available directly out front. Street sweeping occurs on the first week of month so please read signs for correct side to park on. You will be met out front of address for your first appointment.
